Where astrology is stronger
Psychological nuance. The twelve signs across ten planets and twelve houses give astrology a rich vocabulary for inner life: how you love, what you fear, how you present. Its language has also spread through pop culture, so people recognise themselves in it quickly.
Where saju is stronger
Timing and decisions. Saju was developed for questions like “is this a year to start a business?” and “will these two people wear each other down?” The ten-year luck cycles give a long-range map that astrology’s transits, being planet by planet, rarely present as clearly. Saju is also blunt. It will say an element is missing and what that costs you.
Where they agree
Both treat birth time as important, both say character is a mix of fixed tendencies and changing seasons, and both work best as a mirror rather than a prophecy. Readers who use both often find the same theme described from two angles: a chart with a lot of fire and an Aries sun, a water-heavy chart and a Pisces moon.
